About Dr. Mike
Dr. Mike (Iliescu) was initially a family practitioner and an associate professor in a medical school environment.
He finished pathology training with Winthrop University hospital in New York. After the forensic pathology fellowship training, he worked for 9 years in the forensic pathology field as both medical examiner and private consultant.
Dr. Mike recently added Tucson to his area of coverage for private autopsy examinations.
His association with a biomechanist (Dr. Hannon) helps him bring a new perspective when evaluating wrongful death and pathology of traumatic injuries.
